Beks Surreal Nightclub/Dayclub

My Surrealist club will be open both day and night, having brilliant bands downstairs
(day and night), playing on a giant grand piano stage with an atmosphere of music and space (creating space) and different music nights Punk,Rock, Acoustic, Hip-Hop, etc..The downstairs will have both an indoor an outdoor area, and giant body parts on the walls, some acting like giant pillars. In the foyer will be a glass in cased snake pit underneath the floor.

Upstairs will be
heavily focused on dance and would only open after 10:00 with an open faced front and featured art and sculpture with a giant eyeball wall. Both Upstairs and downstairs will have giant over sized walnut floorboards and the upstairs will have a perspex flooring with L.E.D's running underneath.

Megans club

I want my nightclub to have a relaxed atmosphere but be a really fun place to be, somewhere you can hang out with friends and enjoy a cocktail, live music and dancing.

It will be split level, with the lower level for tables, chairs and the bar. The upper level will have a stage, some couches and space for dancing, which will also double as space for an audiences when there is live music. When you first enter the club there will be a screen and hanging from the roof are masks and hats, which everyone wears inside the club.

Have the surreal theme, my club will be quite bizzare and nothing will seem normal. Furniture will be timber with (fake!) animal limbs, there will be a mirrored bar, the sky on the floor, stars on the walls and more. Lighting will come from different lamps all throughout the club.
The idea is that when you are in my club it feels as though you are in another world.

Russell

My club concept is the transposition of life above sea level to life under. I propose to create, using thin glass tanks, water and lighting, the illusion that from any point within the club,
the rest of the club well and truly submerged.
Reference to already existing surrealistic works will abound either as painting, sculpture or furniture and it is to be hoped that the overall effect will be coralic (like coral).

The club itself is to be two levels, the first long and deep,
and the second to be mezzanine. Access to the second level will be by two or possibly three Dumbwaiters operated by fish doormen in livery. The mechanisms of said dumbwaiters are to seem ostensibly to be constructed of discarded penny farthing bicycles (a recurring image through invite to night).
